Banfield Pet Hospital

The Banfield team took care of our sweet boy for 17.5 years. Dr. Nicholas Libio was the best Vet we have ever worked with in all of the years of having dogs. He loved our dog & even when he was an old boy… just so kind & respectful to him & us. We had the Wellness plan & probably wouldn’t do it again but if it were the only way to see Dr. Libio, we would.

The whole team at Banfield Traverse City is excellent! I've been taking my family members/pets there for any years. The doctors are thorough and honest up front with the results/ conditions regarding pets. They are not about milking you out of money with false hope.The girls who work with the Dr in the back just love spoiling and loving on my babies! This comforts me because I have a few who are timid & scared. The front desk staff are so friendly everytime you walk in. I really love the optimum wellness plans which bundle all the expected care you need for you pets for an entire year and spread out the payments over a year so you have minimal cost at each visit. Highly recommend!

This is in my opinion the best vet clinic in town! This is the only place my fur baby will go and is treated so well. They know her habits, they adjust to her needs and how she feels. Dr. Ludka is phenomenal, she truly cares and does all in her power to bring comfort and compassion to our fur babies. Thank you for taking great care of my Betsy! Truly appreciate you all!

I didn’t realize this, but you don’t actually see a vet here. You drop your pet off and then play a game of telephone through employees and hope they address your concern. After everything is done a vet calls you. All of this makes me very uncomfortable since I can’t be there with my pet to explain and hear in-person what they found. I brought my cat in for eye discharge and to discuss medication for his anxiety. They didn’t examine his eye & they did a urinalysis. When I spoke with the vet I repeated my concern that it was behavioral not a UTI and can we discuss medicine for him. They said they had to do these tests first. I agreed because I understood it as they wouldn’t prescribe him anything without doing those first. When they ended up not finding anything (which I already said in the
