Our dog Lucy spent the day with Jared and his dogs while we explored Traverse City. Lucy is our young, active Golden Retriever who loves to play! Staying with Jared was perfect for her and she enjoyed playing in his yard with the other pups. We were very comfortable with Jared’s care and he has created a unique service for pet daycare. I honestly wish we lived closer so Lucy could stay more often. We highly recommend TCtails for your pet care needs! Thanks Jared, Lucy!

I have been going to Jared for years now and he is an experienced dog sitter. His knowledge of dog behavior is excellent. He knows how to introduce dogs to each other. Jared has a calm and relaxed approach to caring for animals. It puts both the pet and owners at ease. He has a nice big back yard and his dog Charlie is well balanced playful pup. My Tucker has always been treated like a member of his family. If you want a truly wonderful person to care for your fur baby Jared is the one. Prices for the care of your pet is very reasonable. I highly recommend Jared.

We had a fantastic experience with TC Tails for our pup Mack’s overnight stay! He’s a nervous rescue and still a puppy, so I was a little anxious about leaving him. But Charlie and the other dogs made him feel so comfortable and happy—it was heartwarming to see. Jared went above and beyond, sending regular updates along with lots of photos and videos, which really put my mind at ease. You can tell they truly care about the dogs in their care. We’ll definitely be booking again!

If you need pet sitting or dog boarding in Traverse City, TC Tails & Jared is the best! Jared was wonderful on all aspects. We had some interesting travel plans that changed a couple times and Jared was very accommodating from the start. He's very communicative and friendly. Our 2 huskies stayed at his house for 5 days, he has a perfect backyard set-up for dogs, fully fenced in (huskies are escape artists) that was very secure and he seemed to let them find their spots inside as they wanted when it was time to rest. Our dogs are used to finding comfy spots around the house and Jared let them treat his home like it was what they were used to.
