I really hate that I have to write this but it needs to be done for my poor Valentina. She was spayed with Banfield on 9/11 and ultimately bled out to death on 9/15 from her sutures busting open and her entire lower intestines were exposed. When I called Banfield in severe distress, I was put on hold for almost 10 minutes. Those 10 minutes could have been utilized in my opinion. When I had explained what was happening while trying to keep myself together the receptionist stated “well it is a major abdomen surgery .. things like that happen” .. things like that happen?? Excuse me??? She then put me on hold again to see where I could take my sweet angel baby. They gave me two locations.. OnPoint Urgent Clinic or the UF clinic inside of WEC. It seems like a good place to bring my dog. I’m new in town, just moved here from another country. The vet team was nice — I’ve only had one visit so far for a heartworm test and to sign up for the wellness plan. The only issue I had was with the front desk. I didn’t feel very welcome when I asked about using my voucher. I had booked the appointment by email with the voucher, and I thought that was enough, but nobody told me I had to show it at the visit. Later I realized the voucher should have covered the membership fee. I called to ask if they could help fix it, but the person I spoke with wasn’t helpful and the way it was handled didn’t make me feel comfortable. I hope things go better from here. If not, we’ll probably move on after the first year.

AMAZING!!! The staff were all awesome with Jaxson. My boy is always apprehensive about the vets office. He was completely at ease. Got all his labs and tail was still wagging. GREAT JOB!

Beware of their wellness plans. Once you sign up they will not stop billing you. They automatically renew and their services are overpriced. They told me my cat needed all his teeth pulled for his treatment. When I moved a real vet got him on a new diet and he is fine.
