To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding my recent visit to Banfield Pet Hospital located inside the PetSmart in McDonough, Georgia. On February 28, 2026, my cat Lola Blake had a scheduled appointment for the following services: heartworm blood test, rabies vaccination, and the first dose of pyrantel pamoate (50 mg). The veterinary nurse, Taylor Stefan, initially assisted me. Ms. Stefan was professional, courteous, and clear in her communication throughout the interaction. She informed me that my cat would need to be taken to the back treatment area for the bloodwork and rabies vaccine. I agreed. After returning, she advised that the bloodwork and rabies vaccination were completed successfully, but the pyrantel dose was not administered because my cat had bec

Stop going here and end your insurance with them before it’s too late! the agony of watching your furbaby limp to hug you and struggle to pee or eat is something I hope you’ll never have to go through. My 5 year old was perfectly fine before her annual visit, I promise you this. No accountability from this office at all. The tech that brought her out claimed she “walked her out” and was acting fine but it’s on camera, she handed her to me so we didn’t see her injury until we got home. The nail trimmer with the attitude said she was “ easy and didn’t fight,” when we all know most of our pets will retract their paws. Claiming they didn’t know about her previous leg I injury, when they took the $400+ xray there 4 years ago ! I wouldn’t know why but the vet stated, “ mistakes can happen…

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. This is the second time my puppy’s appointment has been rescheduled due to staffing issues. Last week, I was told they were understaffed and had to reschedule. I rearranged my schedule and came back this week after working a 12-hour shift, rushed to pick up my puppy, and made it to the appointment on time — only to be told again that they needed to reschedule. When I asked why I was not notified, I was told a voicemail was left. However, the phone number they had on file was not my number. When I asked if it could be updated, I was told the person at the desk was not the one who entered it, so there was nothing she could do. Worst check-in process EVER, it’s always one nice lady at the desk in the mornings. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET THIS LADY SOME HELP!!! It shouldn’t be 9am still waiting and had a 815 drop off appointment. It’s like this all the time. When you call you’re put on eternal hold.

Horrible,do not go here if you don’t want to pay for nothing ,paid over $500 for absolutely nothing.plus the fee includes coat and skin check up they said he was ok and missed a big rash he had in he’s neck i will not be going here and unless you want to give money to this people out of charity i suggest you don’t bring your pets here,i called the next day to bring him back and they said they didn’t had any appointments available to go elsewhere. a joke.
