Today I brought Maya to this location, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. Dr. Izen was honestly the kindest, most professional, and communicative veterinarian I’ve had in the 8 years of caring for Maya. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole visit feel comfortable and reassuring. I also think sometimes in veterinary care the importance of kindness and detailed communication can be overlooked. Hearing a quick “everything looks good” isn’t always enough for pet owners who truly care about their animals. Dr. Izen really stood out because he took the time to talk through things and make sure I understood Maya’s health. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the pets and their owners. So many reasons to share! An incredible team works at this Banfield Location Marietta at Johnson's Ferry Rd Firstly, It is so very hard to find a vet that is open on Saturdays ...all day! and even Sundays! This is a much needed service for pet owners!!!! Most of us work and it is almost impossible to get a vet appointment on a Sat when needed. Most vets are only open a few hours on Sat and never on Sun. THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH BANFIELD!!! When I need a vet I need it soon and I must work so that I can pay the bills....thank you for being open on weekends!!! I have had such a great experience with your Banfield location in Marietta GA on Johnson Ferry Rd. Your Vets , Vet Techs/ Nurses, and Front Desk manager ARE INCREDIBLY HELPFUL. Very rude front staff and only care about getting you to renew the wellness plan. Took cat in near the end of plan for not eating and thought his teeth were hurting but they said they were fine. Let the plan expired and took to another vet and he had terrible teeth and elevated liver count related to inflammation.

0/10! My dog’s nail came off and I wanted to get her in to see a doctor. I booked an in room appt for 10:30 and rushed here, 30 minutes away. When I arrived, they advised their website mistakenly says in room but they only have drop offs available and to pick her up later. I advised it’s not only Valentine’s Day, but I live 30 minutes away and wanted to actually be in room during visit, which I why I booked it. She said I can stick around for 30 minutes and see if the Dr is available after surgery but it’s not definite. Who really has time for that? Then said even with the wellness plan, it would still be $125 plus however much for antibiotics? I have 2 pets on their wellness plan but they are NEVR available in an emergency. Canceling ASAP!! The WORSE vet!

Dr. Izen is truly the best vet I’ve ever experienced, he’s so thorough and reassuring. I could not ask for a better human and doctor to care for my Harley! We will continue to see him when we need to. Thank you!
