Our family has a very large Euro-bred Doberman who participated in the Board & Train program and we cannot speak highly enough of Ryan and the Balanced K9 Services team. During our pup’s two week stay, we received photos, videos and training updates from the Balanced K9 team, which included basic obedience training, healthy socialization with other dogs, and A TON of outdoor activities. From initial contact and our first meet and greet, through Board & Train and continued follow up communication, Ryan is very responsive and made it a clear objective to learn about our pup, as well as our family and lifestyle to ensure reasonable training goals could be established as a collective. We cannot recommend Ryan at Balanced K9 Services enough. Our german shepherd, Banks, stayed with him at his facility for two weeks, and the transformation has been incredible. Banks is now confidently trained on the e-collar, responds well to commands, and most importantly, is no longer aggressive when people enter our home or pass by on the sidewalk. Before Ryan began working with Banks, he would aggressively bark and jump at the window anytime someone would pass by. He also used to be very aggressive while at the school bus stop when kids would run past him. He is now well behaved and remains calm in these situations.
