Avian & Exotic Clinic of Palm City

I have been writing reviews for a long time and am never at a loss for words. But I’m finding it really difficult to accurately describe the magic of this office. Took our iguana there because of a broken tail. My husband and I were truly amazed at the efficiency, dedication, compassion, knowledge and general “goodness” of both Dr. April and her staff. They work together with almost military precision, understanding Dr. April’s instructions, including her codes and her looks even when they are not verbal. They made all of this appear effortless though it was anything but. She said she had to do surgery on Ariana’s tail. We told her we were leaving on a cruise the next morning. She said, no worries, I’ll have her ready for you at 3am. And when we picked her up at 3am both Dr. April and

Dr. April has worked miracles saving my mice who were so sick before. She helped direct me to better food for them and has always been transparent about everything going on with them and how we can help. My girls would likely be dead or close to if she had not done everything she does. She always takes the time with every animal to ensure they are being given the best chance and care which is why I recommend her to anyone who has an exotic animal including little mice.

I cannot recommend this clinic enough! My ferret’s doctor, April, has been absolutely amazing. She’s incredibly sweet and always takes the time to reassure me with any concerns or questions I have. She makes sure everything is explained clearly so I’m never left confused or worried. Today alone I called about three times asking about follow-up medication dosages, and the staff never made me feel annoying or like I was calling too much. Everyone there is patient, kind, and genuinely caring. It’s rare to find a vet office that makes you feel this supported. As long as I’m in Port Saint Lucie, my animals will always be going to April. She and the entire team truly go above and beyond!

My guinea pig Migi had an emergency the night before Thanksgiving & without hesitation they told me to bring her in. They held her for a couple days & provided me updates everyday on how she’s doing & her treatment. April was very thorough & explained everything to me in the smallest detail. I’ve owned guinea pigs for 5 years & it’s hard to find a exotic vet that will go through lengths for your fur baby. This is the best experience I’ve had with a veterinarian thus far. Everyone on her team is very nice & don’t hesitate to help you & answer any questions you have. I will definitely be bringing my other guinea pigs here in the future for anything!

Dr. April and her team are AMAZING! They literally saved my 6 month old macaw Atlas. It is a miracle that he pulled through having to go through 3 emergency surgery’s in a week, Dr. April is very skilled at her craft. I will only bring my baby to her and her team for now on.
