Martin Downs Animal Hospital

I had to bring my dog in to the hospital for an emergency visit. Issues she has had were progressing and unfortunately the discussions led to one of humane care and end of life care. The vet stayed with me after hours and continued to answer questions until I had all the answers I needed. She never expressed an opinion beyond medical, which I truly appreciated and when I had made the decision she was supportive and helped me to think about options. I’m very grateful for the care and attention they have given my baby and me since I moved to the area and highly recommend them. The boarding is also wonderful and my dog always seemed excited when I dropped her and very well cared for when I took her home.

Our first experience with Dr. Sisel. We found to be very informative about the issues of Mocha’s eyes and very gentle with him. Her assistant was fabulous with Mocha. We were very impressed. Mocha was there because of an eye infection but also had his first well check.

We are beyond grateful for the incredible care we received at Martin Downs Animal Hospital, especially from Dr. Annette Sysel. Our dog Oskar had a tumor/growth removed from his snout/nose, and from start to finish, the experience went far above and beyond our expectations. Dr. Sysel took exceptional care of Oskar and was incredibly thorough, compassionate, and attentive. She spent so much time with us explaining everything, answering questions, and making sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Amazing Dr Stathakis is amazing. Performed a teeth extraction last month on out 15 year old maltipoo.(we didn’t think it was wise putting him under anesthesia). But not only was it life saving but we have a puppy again at 15 years old. She was wonderful, caring and the best we could have asked for . Yesterday was the follow up and everything is great. Thank you again Dr Stathakis!!!

Dr. Annette Sysel at Martin Downs Animal Hospital was awesome. She took great care of our dog Oskar during his nose tumor removal and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Super thorough, caring, and took the time to explain everything. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience - highly recommend.
