⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I took my two doodles to the Athens Area Humane Society wellness clinic for their annual vaccines, a microchip for one, and nail trims, and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed. The staff was beyond amazing kind, patient, and so clearly passionate about what they do. They took excellent care of my dogs and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The facility was also super clean, which made me feel even more confident in the care they were receiving. The level of care and professionalism was top-notch from start to finish. Truly a 10 out of 10 experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality, compassionate care for their pets!

I recently had my dachshund, Pebbles, spayed at the Athens Humane Society, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I was recommended this clinic by someone else who had their dachshund spayed there and had a great outcome—and now I can say the same. Pebbles’ surgery was very quick. I dropped her off around 8:30 a.m. and picked her up around 2 p.m. When I got her in the car, I noticed a bit of bleeding at the incision site. I brought her back in, and the staff was quick to explain that she may have moved a little and caused some of the surgical glue to come loose. They took care of it right away, and we went home soon after. Of course, I was a little anxious about her recovery at first, but everything has gone smoothly. Had an appointment for a spay and neuter. Drove 44 miles to be there on time. At the same time, they brought in a lot of small kittens. My pups became excited, not aggressive. All of a sudden the personnel didn't feel "comfortable" operating on my pups. My opinion is the personnel had their hands full with all the kittens and tried to schedule me. I won't be doing business there again.

Brought in multiple feral cats for TNR. Process was simple. Customer service was awesome. They called me back in a reasonable time to make appt, was in and out in less than 10 minutes for tlboth drop off and pick up. Price is very reasonable.

We had such a wonderful visit to this adoption center! There are so many adorable cats and dogs, and it’s really fun to spend time with them. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and making the whole experience enjoyable. You can interact with the kittens and puppies, which is perfect for kids—they had a blast! The place is clean, welcoming, and well-organized, making it easy to look around and get to know the animals. We’re already planning to come back soon to adopt one of these cuties. Highly recommend it to families and animal lovers!
