Extremely grateful to this practice. I was visiting my family for the weekend and my senior vomited Sat. morning after dealing with an off stomach that week. This was the first clinic I called and they happened to have a cancellation that they offered me. I was fully prepared to visit an emergency clinic due to it being the weekend and such short notice. Dr. Samples and her team were awesome. They kept my pup for the hours that they were open and got her feeling better. They explained all the treatment options/tests in detail and were transparent with prices. Just to top it off as we were in the parking lot getting ready to leave, my usual vet shy dog tried to go back in she because liked the team so much! I also got a call from them Monday checking on her recovery. Would definitely recomm

AWC cares about your pet like its their own. Oreo feels comfortable there. When I say VET, his ears pop up and his tail starts wagging and I don"t have to trick him to catch him. I have never felt like they are just after my money! Every dollar spent was worth the treatment Oreo received.

I am so grateful for this vet. They took such good care of my Frenchies and made us feel safe and supported. The staff is friendly, gentle, and genuinely loves animals. They care about their patients AND their owners, and that means everything. They are also very affordable, which is such a blessing. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Samples is truly wonderful, as are the techs. Everyone goes out of their way to not only care for the health of my critters, but to treat them with enthusiasm and affection. Dr. Samples is also very good about being candid with the financial aspect and meeting me where I'm at financially while still providing my pets with care. She is such a delight and handles all of my little anxieties about my animals! I seriously can't sing her praises enough.

Dr. Samples and Jaz were wonderful with Ranger. He’s a large rescue GSD, and gets nervous at the vet’s office, so we do sedate him slightly before his appointments, but sometimes he still doesn’t really want to be examined. He behaved so well for them, which means that he really liked them. They were so gentle and positive with him, and he had a very good experience during his appointment. We’ve been clients at AWC of Athens since they opened, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else because of experiences like this.
