Good Hands Veterinary Hospital

The Good Hands team is excellent at what they do, all while making you and your pet feel like family. We can’t recommend them enough, and Pearl (6 month old Boston Terrier) loves getting to go and visit everyone at the office for her appointments.

Started using this amazing veterinary practice when I needed advice about one of our dogs (approx 20 yrs ago) They didn’t hesitate to help me and went above and beyond for us. Since then, they have been part of our family and have been there to provide excellent, compassionate care for all of our dogs. Two that are no longer with us (no doubt hanging out with Dr Kucher now) and two that are now 4 and 5 yrs old. I highly recommend Good Hands. I have piece of mind knowing they will always be there for not only our pets but for us…their human owners.

I have been using this vet for well over 10 years. Took my 14 yo dog to get a well check up. The sales pitch was huge. How about eco cardiagram, trachea check, or stomach parasite check. Well, which one do I need? How much are those? Almost $1000. So, I get a mandatory shot. Still pushing for the above services. Hard push for something. The dog got sick, had a fever, very sore. Never got a call or a check in or a mention these things might happen. I checked with some friends, they ALL said the same thing. The sales pitch is huge. All of them left and went to another vet. I went to them and told them how upset I was. Nothing. Just a sorry. And, still didn’t ask about the dog. They’ve lost their kindness, all about the money. Never returning!

This is not the same veterinary practice that it was when Monica Kucher founded it. My dogs have gone here for over 20 years and I have been very happy with the vets that I saw, but my experience there recently was appalling. I took my dog in because he had hair loss with crusty scabby skin. He had a history of issues with food, allergies, and past thyroid problems based on past medical bloodwork. He was seen by Dr. Daly who I have never seen before; I felt like she blew off all of my concerns about the potential cause of the trouble. She examined my dog and said they were going to treat him as if for ringworms and said she was going to prescribe an oral medication and a topical treatment. I asked her if they were going to examine a skin sample under a microscope there or do something t

We brought in our two dogs for appointments. They can generally be anxious and nervous. Trevon, our technician, was wonderful with them. He was able to connect with them and make them feel much more relaxed. One dog even seeking out his attention. thank you Trevon.
