⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arcadia Pets of Staten Island I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff at Arcadia Pets were incredibly helpful and truly knowledgeable when it came to getting my fish tank set up. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident about maintaining the tank the right way. What really sets this store apart is that it’s a small, family-owned mom-and-pop shop—not a big corporate chain. You can genuinely feel that they care about their customers and the animals they sell. The experience felt personal, honest, and welcoming from start to finish. If you’re looking for expert advice, quality products, and to support a local business that treats you like family, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming ba
My go to local aquarium store. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Every time I buy a fish they last and easily adjust to my aquarium. My first fish were a pair of Bolivian rams, they were very dull at first but after a month there color became eye popping.
Their dogs aren’t healthy. While I was browsing the store I heard someone asking why the dog they bought was incredibly sick and had to be taken to the vet and medicated and one of the workers said. “It’s nothing to worry about. It will go away.” Their dogs are very non responsive even when petting through the cages. U thought a few of them were dead. They used to have a blue and green macaw for years that they kept in a small cage. Their axolotls gills are very small and they aren’t even in any light! Their “tanks” are filthy! They have no air stone, no light, nothing! Not even a hide. While viewing the fish I noticed a dead one floating. It’s a cool store but they really need to change up their ways. Also it’s illegal to sell dogs in New York but apparently they are doing it? December
I don't live in Staten Island but my dentist is close by. I always drive past this shopping center. I stop in for aquarium fish and supplies. Very clean and neat store. A large variety of fish, food, and tank decos. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Got a green cheek conure from here, service is great, such nice workers and I like the caique on the desk
