I think the most important thing to know is that Dr King is an excellent doctor and provides very specialized services - she is the only specialist on this side of town, so just expect a wait. I do wish they provided some sort of 8-5 worker-friendly scheduling option, tho few dr offices do.... So there's no getting around taking a half a day off work every 3 months for your regular appointment. But she's worth it, so I do it, and I know my dog appreciates it and her eyes look better and she feels better. Something I love in their office is that when you go into the individual offices there are countless pictures, cards and letters from people who Dr King has changed their dog's lives by giving them vision, or surgery, or whatever makes their quality of life better. Dr. King is easily one of the best vets we've encountered. She is thorough, sweet, attentive, and understanding. Both our cats have had eye concerns that she keeps a close look on during their regular checkups, and her careful watch has brought us peace that we otherwise wouldn't have.

Our first experience with Dr Hill today. We (unexpectedly) had to wait 7 hours, since our 2pm appointment was a work-in. 7 hours. Our Monet was so patient. Anyway, Dr. Hill was indeed worth the wait. She’s a walking Dr Angel. So sensitive and gentle. No wonder the wait ❤️.

There is no reason anyone should have to wait THREE HOURS to pick up a dog or a cat. If they can’t manage something as simple as appointments how can you trust them with your animal’s vision. Nothing special here. I’ll find somewhere else to spend my thousands of dollars on eye care.

When we first brought our baby Buckles we were a little apprehensive because of the long wait, but after dealing with Dr. King I could care less about the wait. I appreciate Dr. King’s love and compassion for for what she does. Buckles had cataract surgery in June and he is happier than ever!!! I thank God for giving Dr. King the ability to make our Buckles quality of life better. Thank you Dr. King you are DEFINITELY worth the long wait 🥰
