Animal Aid Society

I have been fortunate to work in Canine rescue for over 15 years. That experience coupled with being a dog owner multiple times, I can say with great confidence that Animal Aid Society is a superior organization. They investigate appropriate adopters, check vet references, and do home checks...all to assure that dogs are placed in loving homes. They take the time and effort to know the dogs in their care...what they like and what they don't like, any possible history, how they get along with others. They communicate effectively with both the public and potential adopters. Just everything is done the right way! If you are looking to add a dog to your home, you cannot go wrong here. Maggie has been a perfect addition to my family!

This is a wonderful shelter. You can tell the staff loves the dogs. Everyone was so helpful. They asked us what we were looking for, and a few questions about our home, and we ended up with this adorable pocket beagle, Miss Bitty. An excellent experience!

We ultimately adopted two amazing dogs at AAS. The process for adoption has a purpose and AAS has a mission. I truly believe they make every best effort to pair their dogs to forever families and homes. Everybody we interacted with was open, honest, kind, and interested in helping us from start to beyond finish. We would like to give a special shout out to Stephanie and Liz for their roles in helping our family welcome our two beautiful, healthy, four legged family members.

Absolute best place. They’re 100% volunteer run and they are so kind and loving towards the dogs. We adopted my boy from there a couple years ago and I’ve started volunteering recently. So glad we found animal aid

Animal Aid is an amazing rescue that truly cares for their dogs! They were so helpful throughout the entire adoption process. They always made themselves available for any questions I had before, during and after my adoption. They truly want to make sure each of their dogs get to the best home possible. They are dedicated to making sure it's a good match, which is super important for the dog and adopter! I highly recommend this rescue to anyone looking to adopt!
