VCA Todds Lane Animal Hospital

Recently, our Fluffy Sweet Potato had to be seen at VCA Todds Lane Animal Hospital. Kudos to the wonderful Veterinarian, Veterinarian Techs, and Staff that gave our loving boy such excellent care! Melaku has something to say.... Our 4 month old puppy received the Best Bath Ever....ears cleaned and nails trimmed. He even rolled over for a tummy rub. Look at him strut his stuff!

This AM I took a walk to 7 eleven. I have lived in this neighborhood for going on 13 years & have had no issues. Today I am walking past this Animal Hospital and this entitled woman blows her horn at me to move faster so she can drive into the parking lot. I assumed she works here. As a 9/11 AF War VET it sometimes takes me a second. I asked her what her problem was and she said she was turning from a main road. I said what does that matter no one was behind you - you could have patiently waited. It literally was seconds. I asked if she was going to hit me if I didn’t walk faster. This woman did not care at all. I remember when I walked past the church down the street from this hospital and someone needed to get into their parking lot as I was walking past the church. They actually waited

I give this place 2 stars..not because of the workers there they are nice. However, I feel like i should’ve been told the price before the service was started..I took my bunny to get a nail trim and expected to pay anywhere between $15-$30. Her nail trim $68.50!! No sedation, No exam, nothing but a NAIL TRIM! They did not tell me until they took her back there and started on her. Like what if I didn’t have $68? What was y'all gonna do then? Very poor communication on their part. Many places always say: “A nail trim is $___, is that okay?” before proceeding. That’s basic, ethical practice, especially for an unexpected, high-cost service like this one.

Overall, I trusted Todd’s Lane Animal Hospital for the care and knowledge that the team offered. The vets, techs and front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. However, it was often difficult to schedule “day-of” appointments and the later in the day your appointment was, the more likely you would be spending 30-45 minutes in the waiting room as they seemingly overbooked appointments and didn’t have the staff to support. Lastly, compared to prices at other vets, I believe this location was quite a bit higher. I am happier with my current vet and am glad that I made the switch.

As a first time pet owner I’m so glad i found VCA. The people who answer the phone are super friendly every time. Super nice and understanding, he goes every month for a nail trim and they treat him well everytime. He’s been coming here since i got him at 11 weeks old, now he’s 2. No complaints here!
