Advanced Animal Care of Mt. Pleasant

Our family began seeing Dr Leslie and Dr David Steele when we adopted our first dog from Grateful Goldens in 2003. We chose Advanced Animal as they were the rescue’s provider. It was the best decision we ever made for our pets. 5 dogs and 4 dogs later we have never received anything but the best preventative and medical care. However, our greatest gift was their amazing kindness and compassion given by them and every member of their staff. Thank you Drs Steele

Both Dr. Steele and Dr. Hardy provide great knowledge whether just during a regular checkup for our dogs or diagnosing an ear infection, need for teeth cleaning or having a cyst or growth removed. As well as always being pleasant and positive😁

This veterinarian practice is so incredible. Both Dr. Steele’s are so caring, considerate, and really invested in your pets well-being. Their staff is equally invested, kind, and patient. My dog gets major vet anxiety, and Dr. Steele lets us have our appointments outside so that she’s less stressed out. He also waits until she’s comfortable with him before he even touches her, which sometimes takes as long as 30-45 minutes. He’s always an incredibly informative, and really wants to make sure you are getting the info that you need. They also came in clutch many years ago when my previous dog had a major injury, and I was in a panic on a Saturday afternoon and new in town. I cannot recommend this veterinarian practice more highly. 10/10

I feel so lucky to have found this wonderful vet, Dr David Steele! Our first visit with my 2 dogs included a consult that took up at least 1/3 of his day. Never in my life have I had that kind of time and attention from any Dr let alone a veterinarian. Ever!!! He even stayed after closing to be able to cover the full scope of what we needed behavioral assistance with. My dogs have pretty polar opposite personalities and issues going on. One has so much love to give but major separation anxiety and the other dog has barking and reactivity issues. His knowledge and expertise is outstanding! In just one visit, I learned so much about dog psychology I leave there feeling more confident to be able to tackle our issues head on! Great experience! Dr Hardy was outstanding. She took the time to go over all information that I had questions on. She wanted my puppy to get to know her and she certainly impressed him. He was obsessed. The minute she went out to the back area, he went to the door and cried for her! :) Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff who I encountered during the visit.
