If for whatever reason you decide to board your pet at this place be sure to get a price quote. I was shocked when I picked up my schnauzer this morning that the price had doubled from my recent drop off. I would definitely not recommend this place because there are much better kennels around town for the price and quality of service that you get and not to mention the poor condition of the place.

Today is my first and last time! Just got my babies home, she did a horrible job! I specifically told her not to cut the hair on my poodle’s ears but she cut them anyway! The hair inside her ears are not cleaned! As for my Pom, paws and ears are not clean shaved! I want a summer shave but it’s not evenly shaved! Worst of the worst, she didn’t cut their nails! My Pom weights 7 lbs, my poodle weights 6 lbs, she charged me $90! (The one pic where my Pom is wearing a red bandanna is the cut I want and showed her! It’s done by my previous groomer!)

My dog got the ugliest grooming (hair cut). like never before...and I was over charged becuse the hair was matted to end and let my dog bald .you turn my hairy pomeranian to ugly and bald coyote....I do not recommend this place at all.do a favor to your dog and stay away from this place.and.yes i request you for a refund..cuse the ugliest job that you did..petco never refuse to get my dog..and they do it right.. they don't turn pomeranian on bald and ugly chupacabra

I pulled up to the home and it immediately gave me weird vibes; I was not expecting it to be a private residence and should have double-checked Street View. I knocked, then texted, and was let into the area of the home dedicated for grooming. While the space was relatively clean, it was dark and not well lit. I brought my two senior Bichons for a full groom. Their fur was not overgrown and Lesa seemed to question whether a grooming was even necessary. Their normal routine is a full groom every 8 weeks in order to keep their coat well maintained. This was the first time I had brought them to 4HP since relocating to this area of Houston. If I could leave ZERO STARS, I would! Our normal groomer was unavailable, so I thought I'd try this place, being it's been open so long and had mostly good reviews. I brought my one year old schnauzers there (who normally get groomed every 6 weeks, so they are used to this). First instinct upon drop off was she didn't say a word to the dogs, the shop smelled of urine and dog, dirty, hair everywhere. Finally she puts one of the dogs in the dirty kennel, leaving me uneasy. When I picked up my babies they looked horrible! My schnauzers beautiful eyebrows and beard was chopped! They both had nicks and uneven shaving from the clippers, they smelled like smoke, I literally bathed them later. Two days later they are infested with fleas, have never had fleas! They finally went to their normal groo
