Visiting was just a depressing experience. These birds seemed bored and in cages that were too small. Birds shouldn't be kept like this - it's clearly inhumane. The most difficult to see were the very large beautiful birds in a small cage. Rescues are a better alternative.

Walking into this place is heartbreaking: you’re immediately met with stressed out birds in tiny cages, crying and screaming and clawing and biting the bars, begging for their freedom. It’s so sad to see, hear and smell. Many of the birds have bald spots, a sad sign that they’ve been plucking themselves from stress and lack of mental and physical stimulation. Any bird needs space far greater than these tiny cages, but especially the HUGE macaws they have! These big birds typically fly through many miles of sky and forest in their native habitats DAILY, there’s no way it could ever be ethical or humane to keep them locked up in what amounts to the size of a small bathroom for their entire lives. The bird smuggling, trafficking and breeding industry is cruel and destroys habitats, social bond

They have a great selection of supplies and seeds, which I appreciate, I bought a bag of seeds for the wild birds who come to my yard. But what really breaks my heart about this place, and the reason I could never go back and support this store again, is that they are exploiting birds to be sold a pets. I'm not sure if they are breeding them there or if they are wild caught, but these poor birds are miserable in those tiny cages. They look so sad and stressed, some with feathers pulled out. These birds would in nature would fly many miles and live very social lives. If folks enjoy being around birds, please just put seeds outside for them. They should not be kept in cages as pets or decor. I really hope some day they stop selling birds like commodities and instead work with local bird rescu

Came here for the first time to get some bird toys for our green cheek and I was absolutely shocked at the repulsive state of this store and the clear neglect these birds are experiencing. Every cage with live birds was covered in weeks worth of feces, dust, feathers, and overall grime. Most birds had zero toys in their cages, not even nesting spots for the finches or canaries (a necessity for their wellbeing). Every item for sale was covered in dust, truly the whole store lad a layer of dust. They even had two canaries in a breeding box behind the checkout! Do not shop at this store and DO NOT board your pets here.

- Air quality was VERY bad in here. You can smell excessive bird dust, bird poop, bird food, and it is not clean and hygenic - not healthy for people or birds. - Very intelligent and exotic parrot species such as macaws are being housed in cages that are way too small for them and their mental health. Their feathers and health don't appear perfectly healthy. - Species (like cockatiels) that local bird rescue groups are overflowing with and struggling to rehome are being bred and sold here for profit, which is not helping the general overflow problem the local pet bird rescues are experiencing. - Over-all I was hoping to find a place that had better bird wellfare ethics than PetCo or PetSmart, but sadly, I can't say that I found that here. How can improvements be made? - Stop breeding and
