READ EDITS PLEASE! Pretty disappointed in my second experience. First was around Christmas 2023, bringing in my golden retriever and asking for just a trim, keeping him nice and long. Today, I asked for "just a little more off than last time" (they asked if I wanted the same as last time. I asked for "a bit more of a summer trim, but still keeping things long." He looks fine from the side profile, I guess, but his chest looks like it was hacked with kitchen sheers. I honestly could have done a better job at home. I would expect better for a $90 grooming visit. Also, they had my dog for over 4 hours.... I had made this appointment more than a month prior. THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS NEGLIGENT. They have injured my dogs on multiple occasions and have been secretive about each incident. They have cut/nicked each of my dogs on more than one occasion that have caused scrapes. Both my Shih Tzu Poodle and my other Toy Poodle. They try to hide their malpractice and not be honest about when incidents like this happen. I had to find out on my own on multiple occasions and bring it to their attention. They have each been to the vet for antibiotic cream in past because of these previous incidents. But today was my final straw, on my Shih Tzu poodle they cut his quick and tried to hide it. The only reason I found out is because when i brought my first dog back to the car while my second dog was getting trimmed, i noticed a lot of discolored powder on one of

My looks so ridiculous. I very specifically told the staff, Jen, not to cut my dogs body hair. Trim his legs and face only. Could not have been more clear... my dog is practically naked now. No one bothered to call me to discuss their style decision. I just showed up to a naked dog. ABSOLUTELY INFURIATED when Jen tried to justify their work by saying "Well we couldn't trim just his legs without doing his body too" Lady, it's the middle of winter and my dog has no hair now. Absolutely awful. There should have been a call made to be before you do what you please with no your dog.

Who decides on the cut/style to groom the dog? I thought it was me, when I specifically said not to cut the body - just trim the feet, legs and face. Well, I just picked my NAKED dog up. Every inch of him was trimmed SHORT! Jen's justification was "we can't do the legs and not the body." WHY WOULDN'T YOU SAY THAT WHEN I SPOKE TO YOU? I was so clear that it's 20 degrees out and I did not want my dog cut short. I can see his skin!!!! This is disgraceful! Didn't even bother to call or notify me of their decisions. I just got a naked dog back. 0 stars.

I am very happy with my experience at Wizard of Paws. They did a phenomenal job on my baby Bella. Great work!
