Wink Dog Salon

Emily has been grooming our 4yo mini Bernedoodle (about 35-40 lbs) since he was a puppy. She always does the greatest work and is so gentle and kind to him. He loves her so much! On the rare occasion when we’ve had him groomed at another shop due to scheduling conflicts, in the end no one is as good as Emily! We drive from SF to Walnut Creek just to go to Wink.

Update 8/29/2025 Miranda too care of Willie today and did a great job. Picture says a thousand words so I will attempt to add one from this visit. Update 5/28/2025 Emily and her staff are amazing. Willie was one of the first customers to Wink Dog upon the opening on Cypress Street. We waited for the shop to be completed and it was worth it. Emily is the best groomer in the Bay Area. So good it was only a matter of time before she needed to expand. My dog has had some health issues and Emily made Willie a priority when a cancellation occurred. Emily takes care of all types of dogs. Maybe your dog just needs a bath. Wink Dog can do it! Or maybe yours needs a full groom with some extra TLC Wink Dog can do that too. Anyone who can get to Walnut Creek can get the best groom ever. Thank you W

We love Wink and Em! We have tried multiple dog salons in San Francisco and the East Bay and Emily is the ONLY person that we trust with our two dogs. One of our dogs has separation anxiety and the other has grooming anxiety (great! lol) and she is so patient with both. Plus, she knows how to groom doodles! Their faces always turn out perfect. We tried 5 salons in SF before we found Em at her old spot and went to her for 2+ years, and when we moved to Orinda in July we were bereft without a groomer out here. We went through 2 different groomers in the East Bay who left our dogs with rashes and extreme anxiety. Emily is the best groomer ever. She is the owner of Wink and came from the city where she was the first and only groomer we ever used for our pup. The new facility is awesome, super clean, 15min parking outside for pickup and drop off convenience - located next to Harold's cleaners. Great prices and service and expertly skilled! Our pup actually is excited to go to Emily every time! So happy that Wink Dog Salon is in the area now!!

Emily always does an amazing job on udon’s haircut. She is Udon’s groomer since he was 9 months! She is very professional and been treated udon with care and kindness. I am grateful that she is one of the reason that he enjoys every bath to this date and stay so calm all the time during his bath!
