You Luckie Dog Kennels and Cat House

We have been boarding with Rick for two years and have had a great experience with our three dogs! Rick is very patient and took time to understand our skittish little dog's behaviors. Instead of causing more anxiety, our little dog became comfortable and had a great stay. We are able to take a much needed extended vacation this year because I trust Rick to take very good care of them. Highly recommended!

My baby Golden Retriever, Heidi, loves coming here and runs to the front door. She's only 6 months old and is admittedly tough to handle. When we first brought her, Rich eased her into socialization with the pack by putting her with one of the Labradoodles. We went out of town for a week and when we came back, she was perfectly content with the small dog pack. You can board your dog in other places but they will be stuck in a kennel the entire time. Heidi is a high energy puppy who needs to be out of a kennel. Prices are very fair and competitive.

Rick always has our back and provides excellent care for our dogs Ranger and Capri ( GSD). It’s already stressful for the owner to part with their pets weather we have long travel or quick business trips but knowing that my babies will be in good hands with him makes my travel so much less stressful. When I pick them up to bring home they always look happy and tired so I know they are being cared for and walked and got their play time. Location is a great bonus as well as it’s very quiet and picturesque. Great facilities. Thank you Rick!

We brought our highly energetic rescued black lab mix to Rick’s for a two week boarding stay. We were nervous as he suffers from separation anxiety, has escaped from multiple kennels, and had only been boarded once before. He did great and had no issues. Rick is easy to work with and flexible. Rick has ample experience with dogs and it was clear he made ours feel safe and comfortable. We would recommend Rick to anyone who needs a boarder that’s seen it all, especially for dogs that wouldn’t be traditionally “easy to watch” or have high energy. The dogs play all day and Rick’s all about letting them live like the pack animals they are without too much interference from people which we like.

My dog starts wagging like crazy as soon as we get near You Luckie Dog’s gate! 🐶 Play time is included (no extra charge), the boarding rates are super affordable, and Rick is so easy and flexible to work with. I always know my pup is happy and well cared for here.
