By far the best vet experience I’ve ever had. I own a flock of Jumbo Pekins, and I couldn’t be more thankful to find such a compassionate vet and tech team! Avian vets are so hard to come by, and I’m so grateful to have found this office. The team is just absolutely amazing. I brought my littlest girl in last week. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong and this weather hasn’t been too kind for a healthy flock to flourish. I found her unable to walk, limping severely, and not herself (she’s spicy). I took her in and the doc found a tiny puncture with mild swelling at the bottom of her foot. I would have never found this. She put her on anti inflammatories and miracles happened. If a staff member don’t like you, you are officially blackballed. My animal was sick and Dr. McMillan sat there and watched. As her receptionist (Jen) failed to communicate, argumentative, refused to explain what was happening to my animal, and one of the calls I was able to get, she told me not to come in, while I was told to by an ER Vet I had to take to Dr. McMillan because she was expecting me. She should educate her staff better in explaining certain animal terms, that we don’t know. my animal suffered and died. I feel so so bad for anyone who’s in my shoes, because the one that suffers and dies is the animal. And they are a vet who’s supposed to save animals. Apparently mine wasn’t the lucky one…

I drive an hour one way for the expertise of this vet. Only avain vet I trust. I originally found them for a second opinion following a misdiagnosis. They are exceptionally knowledgeable about birds and provide compassionate care for all pets.

Dr. McMillan is a phenomenal avian vet. She's always taken the best of care for my ducks and chickens. I would never go anywhere else!

Dr. McMillan is an incredibly experienced and knowledgeable vet that has helped me in so many ways. She is the ONLY vet in this area that specializes in the care of BIRDS!! She saved my canary from death on more than one occasion. Her careful and thoughtful approach to my dogs care has made a huge difference in the quality of his life. Her staff are friendly and helpful. This clinic offers pain management services with Jane Epstein that will exceed your expectations. Shock therapy, laser light therapy, massage, hydro therapy, assisi mats, and much more are part of their rehabilitation services, and Jane is a huge asset to their organization. You will love her!
