Wheaton Animal Hospital

We’ve been taking our dogs to Wheaton Animal hospital for over 30 years. Dr Schwartz and the rest of the staff are compassionate and thorough in their assessments. Because of the excellent care my dog received when she was diagnosed with a heart murmer, she outlived her original prognosis by a few years. They are a busy clinic, so sometimes you have to wait on hold to make an appointment , but they do put care into treating each client with friendly service. The front office staff and the vet techs all take time to get to know you, your family, and your pets. The location is convenient, and the prices for services are comparable to other practices in the area. I had the opportunity to go to Wheaton Animal hospital as a returning client it has been over 25 years since I had been there with Dr. Able. My visit was for an urgent matter and from my initial contact with Keith, who was empathetic and went above and beyond to assist me and scheduled a same day appointment. The staff was welcoming and caring. The doctor and his treatment staff were patient, empathetic, and showed that they genuinely understood my pet's concern. I would highly recommend this practice.

Our visit to Wheaton Animal Hospital was great. My dog gets very nervous and they did an excellent job calming him and ensuring he received a thorough wellness exam. The staff was very attentive and friendly from the appointment booking through check out.

Dr. Schwartz is a great doctor. He's open minded regarding different types of diet (raw diet), and gave me great advice for feeding my dog. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and kindhearted. They're all awesome.

The few times I have taken my dogs to Wheaton Animal Hospital have all been wonderful. I’ve only seen Dr. Schwartz and he is great. Gentle, thorough and answers all my questions. He is prompt with his responses by phone and calls personally with his assessments. I feel that he and his staff have my dogs and my best interest at heart and I never feel like he is trying to sell me more than is needed to address my dogs’ needs. I would recommend him to anyone. And his staff is great too!
