We adopted Gracie in August 2025 and had no idea what we were in for. Having been used to 2 small dogs, we landed a large lab/dobie/possibly shepherd mix! We went from 0 to 100 overnight! A former trainer who is no longer in business, recommended The K9 Class. Ron, the owner, and his 3 compadres: Hugh, Ronnie, and Anthony, are nothing short of a dedicated, fun, playful, serious when necessary, dog-loving crew! We purchased the Daycare 3 private sessions per day package. Gracie stays all day and gets 3 private training sessions. She's taken on training walks with other dogs, meets other folks in neighboring businesses, and plays with other pups. We also added 5 private lessons. And one of the best features?...We often get "Report Cards" that tell us of Gracie's progress complete with video
I started with the program expecting my puppy to be well-behaved, and I was quite impressed during the first two weeks. I noticed some improvements, and the communication through the portal was good. For the first few weeks, I only received six reports during the program. However, after some weeks, I didn’t see any improvements in my dog. I have a busy schedule at work, which is why I take him to school. Ronny was one of the most helpful during my private classes. But he wasn’t my trainer in the mornings; they said they practiced leash off, but I never received any reports. I spent almost $3,000 at the school, and now I’m getting another trainer to help my puppy become well-trained.
I recently had my first dog training visit with Ron Davidson, and I am very pleased with the experience. Ron came to my house, which made everything easy and comfortable for both me and my dog. He was reassuring and took the time to explain the training methods he would use. His approach was calm and understanding, which gave me confidence in his ability to help us. I look forward to continuing our training sessions with him.
When recommending a trainer for our dog I didn’t even think twice before recommending K9 Class. And realized I failed on leaving a review prior.. but I need to tell everyone to just trust and believe that as dog owners, having a qualified and competent trainer will give quality of life for your dog and provide a better environment for everyone. We’ve had Sky for almost a year and a half, and Ron trained her right after we got her. As first time pet owners we felt overwhelmed with the amount of responsibility and things we didn’t even knew about it. I wanted to share with a bit of her development with skills. Even with “minimum wage” and rewarding a lot with bonding, play time, she has been excelling with commands, even non verbally (gestures). Although very cuddly and a sweetheart, she
We had an amazing experience with the K9 class! Cooper spent the day with the trainer, and we saw immediate results — even after just one session. We loved receiving photos and videos throughout the day, which gave us so much confidence in the process and let us see his progress in real time. What really stood out is that while this is training, it’s done at Cooper’s level and with so much kindness, which is exactly what you want for a puppy. He was supported, understood, and challenged in all the right ways. We feel incredibly confident that we’re going to see great long-term results and have already booked our next two sessions. I truly can’t say enough positive things — highly recommend to anyone looking for thoughtful, effective puppy training!
