Westwood Animal Hospital

I love westwood! And I trust them with all my dogs. They took swift action with my great dane Aiden and I am so very grateful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet!

My experience with Westwood has been inconsistent. The first time they were out for a horse choke, was good. 2nd time with a dog we took to clinic was much less than expected. Had to take him elsewhere. The 3rd visit (another farm call for choke) was painfully awful and more expensive than it should have been due to the vet lacking knowledge/experience/skill set. My mare was lung tubed 3 times due to improper technique and I truly believe the vet didn't know how. My mare had to have antibiotics due to being lung tubed so many times. This past Sunday evening Tom Cromer came out to examine my geldings eye with swollen lids and a gross amount of white goobers. He seems very knowledgeable, professional and willing to teach and explain what may be going on and how to manage it. Very gr

I have a feral that came with the house I bought back in 2020 and it showed up with a nasty abscess on its face. After a comical capture I brought the poor girl to Westwood and they were able to see her on a Saturday morning and give her a full workup and treatment, after sedation of course. The staff was excellent and given all that was done the price was not as shocking as I thought it would be. Thank you to the wonderful staff!!

Dr. Herndon was wonderful. She treated our older goat with arthritis and our two new additions for their first check up and shots. I highly recommend her and Westwood for any large animal needs. We have been with them for 30+ years!
