Augusta Valley Animal Hospital

Had my first appointment here a couple months ago and forgot to write a review about how horrible it was. The assistant who helped us at first was amazing and professional, but the vet tech (i forget her name she was white small with glasses and i think brown hair) was extremely passive aggressive to the assistant the whole meeting, and made a joke about my partner selling weed because of his appearance? She was explaining that we needed to start using a weigher for my cats food, so I don’t see why that comment was necessary or professional. Now i go to Staunton Vet Clinic & they’re awesome! Please tell ur staff to be more appropriate with the clients and kinder to their assistants.

I recently visited Augusta Valley Animal Hospital and have nothing but good things to say. We inherited a sweet little leopard gecko and had very little information about his background. When I noticed something wasn’t right, I contacted our regular vet (who sees our dogs), but they don’t handle exotic pets. They quickly referred me to Augusta Valley — and I’m so glad they did. I was really worried going in, both about our gecko’s condition and what the cost of care might be. But from start to finish, the experience was fantastic. Dr. Pound was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. She explained everything thoroughly, made sure I felt heard, and reassured me that I could call with any questions even after our visit. She even showed me how to administer the medication before we left. Everyon

It's so clean and staff is awsome. Our Vet was Top Notch. She spent alot of time being patient and informed me of everything she was doing. She gave me options and she was just the best Vet I have ever experienced. Try them you will love them and they take the care of our pets serious and I couldn't have asked for a better experience

We have been a client for the last six months. We have gone for multiple visits for our new pup and one of our cats. They are very nice and knowledgeable. They were even able to get us in for a appointment next day when we had a concern with our dog. We really like Dr. Kelly!

Ive been here twice now, once with another person’s cat and once with my own. I have had a good experience both times! Today we had Dr Peterman and I felt like everything was explained clearly and I was given many chances to ask questions :) Looking forward to continuing care here! Updating my review a year later to emphasize how much I appreciate this place! We have now also been to see Dr Kelly a few times and she is wonderful. My cat is pretty aggressive at the vet (not their fault) and staff is unfailingly sweet to her anyways! My younger cat got neutered here and did great, fortunately he is less shy about new people! My “spicy” cat got an injury on her leg and they have been absolutely amazing with listening to my concerns and making sure she heals up without infection. Everyone is
