Westown Veterinary Clinic

We’ve been coming to Westown Veterinary Clinic since 2016 (Lois was 2 1/2 m.y.o). If you want a team that truly partners with you, I highly recommend Dr. Vivek and his crew. During Louis’s recent PE check-up, he was shaking with anxiety. Samantha (the vet tech) and Dr. Vivek were so professional, they had me hold Louis to keep him safe, and Dr. Vivek even was kneeling down on the floor to introduce himself at Louis's level. Samantha also patiently answered all the questions I was too stressed to ask initially. And, yes - Ask questions, there no stupid ones if you care about family.They truly understand how to handle both nervous pets and worried owners!

We recently had to hospitalize our dog, and unfortunately his condition declined to the point where we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize him. Throughout the entire process, the team at Westown was compassionate, thoughtful, and respectful. The doctors and techs took the time to explain his condition clearly, answered our questions patiently, and never made us feel rushed while making such a heartbreaking decision. During his end of life care, Westown treated my dog and family with dignity and kindness. Their empathy and professionalism made an unimaginably hard day a little more bearable. I am deeply grateful for the care they provided and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for veterinary care.

I’ve always had great care here. They took such great care of my ferret, and they’ve been so kind and supportive as we get ready to say goodbye to our beloved pup. We have another dog who has been getting great treatments for her allergies and other ailments. I’m confident that as long as we live in the area this will be our primary care center for all pets we may yet have. Truly a compassionate team of model professionals.

We awoke to our (extremely) food aggressive 3 year old cat not eating. It was a Sunday morning, so I called what Google said was WVRC, but got Westown Vet Clinic instead. It was 8:30am, & Westown was able to make give us a 10:30am appointment, so I took it. I was impressed with the staff- they took us to a room quickly, & everything was immaculately clean & well lit. The vet was running a bit late due to another cat emergency, & they apologized profusely. The vet examined & diagnosed our cat. We really appreciated that he was able to fix our feline with an injection & some take home meds. He said that he could do an X ray & bloodwork, but didn’t think it was necessary at this point. We’re grateful that he didn’t oversell us on expensive add-ons. Even my husband thought that the bill was

My dog was not using one of his legs and his paw pad seemed to be causing a lot of pain for him. Our previous vet could not get him in for at least a week. I called Westtown and they got him in the very same day and we received excellent care. The doctor listened to my concerns and what type of treatment I was comfortable with. They also gave me a price that I had to sign before we even started. We'll be back!
