Dr. Maria has literally saved my dogs’ lives multiple times. We live in an area where pigs and wild dogs roam, so emergencies happen — and every single time, she has been nothing short of incredible. Her bedside manner (and her entire team’s) is impeccable, compassionate, and calming. She always goes the extra mile. She even called me at 10 p.m. just to update me because she was still monitoring my pup in her office overnight. I trust her completely. If you’re looking for a veterinarian who genuinely cares and treats your animals like her own, Dr. Maria is the one.

Dr. Maria, Johnny, and Luna were wonderful during a very difficult time for our family. When our dog Daisy declined quickly over the weekend, Johnny was kind and compassionate and helped us get an appointment the same day. Dr. Maria was professional and thoughtful, taking the time to explain everything and guide us through the best options for Daisy’s care. She made sure Daisy was comfortable and that we felt supported every step of the way. When the time came to say goodbye, Dr. Maria handled everything with calm, kindness, and respect, which brought us a great deal of peace. This Kona urgent Care saved my cat's life. He was in bad shape, not eating or drinking for at least a week. He was very lethargic and looked like he was just going to wander off and die soon. I was trying all week to get in at any veterinary in Kona with no luck. I had to wait until Friday when this urgent care opened but I called and went in right away. I guess he ended up getting in a fight and had a big ball of pus larger than a tennis ball size. They were able to remove it all and cleaned it up really nicely. He has healed and is back to his normal frisky self all to the help of this wonderful company. Do not hesitate to bring your loved one in. Mahalo nui

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Maria. She is kind, caring, and knowledgeable about what she does. I, unfortunately, had to put my older cat down a few months ago. My cat (best friend) had lymphoma and was no longer responding to medication. Dr. Maria was kind, understanding, caring, and handled the whole situation with grace. It was a very delicate situation and the hardest day for me but she couldn’t have handled it any better. She truly cares about what she does and goes the extra mile for her patients.
