Dr Kawamoto was excellent with Elliott. He's an old school Vet and I like that. No beating around the bush as they say. He was efficient and fast. Very good medical advice for my older cat. He was able to do a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection within the next business day so we could fly out. I highly recommend!
Never stepping foot again at: Pet medical center on Luhia St I only went there as that's where my fur baby had his 1st shots with the original owner, so I didn't think to research any reviews on that place! Huuuuge mistake! extremely hot :no AC or ventilation of any kind! Not even an open window) dirty piled old and fresh bird poop, floors that haven't been mopped in a long time ... The doc was very unapproachable, It's like I was bothering him for being there!
I have no idea why there is so much fake 5 stars reviews. He doesn’t like people and barely talks. He was giving my kitten all kinds of stuff without letting me know what it is and what it’s supposed to help with. He passes her as sick from her environment. A random lady in pet co told me she had ringworm and needed better treatment, she examined her with no cost!! While I paid 115 to a VERIFIED VETERAN that just continuously talked to the kitten I got 2 days ago saying, “neglect neglect”!!
The vet is not a people person, but he's not there to treat people, he's there to treat animals. He was really good with my dog, and he took care of everything needed with very little conversation, for instance, I asked for flea treatment and he just left the room without saying anything, but he got the treatment I needed. The charges were really reasonable too. It's easy to get an appointment, which is a plus, as most vets in the area are not taking new clients. I don't need a fancy office and a lot of feedback from the vet, I just need my dog taken care of and he did a very good job. I will continue to take my dog to him.
Amazing. I took my cat for a suspected urinary infection, and Dr. Kawamoto was excellent at assessing her temperament, giving a routine exam, and prescribing needed antibiotics. Short and to the point, asking relative questions. The cost was pleasing. Very happy.
