Wash the Wag

Great first time visit! This store was a one woman show from washing, grooming, to cashier and she made it look effortless. When you arrive, there are two sets of doors, a double door and a single door on the left. Make sure to use the left one and ring the doorbell to be let in. Once inside, you'll be greeted by dog foods and supplies to the front and the wash and groom center past an open door to the right. You have the option to wash your dog yourself or have it done for you at one of the four available dog wash stations. We opted to wash our dog ourselves and were give two aprons and towels. Because it was our first time at a dog wash, she showed us how to use the machine. Make sure to bring your own shampoo or conditioner, but if you don't they have some available for purchase. Person

This is the worst cut my dog ever had and she has been getting cuz for years monthly. I just moved to this area so I’ve been looking for a new groomer. Her hair is so visibly choppy. I had to go back to ask her to cut the top of her hair because it was insanely shorter than the rest and she came out with these humongous metal scissors. Which gives me the impression that her equipment is old school. She is an older lady so I give her some grace but she should get some employees who can perform better. I would not recommend this place for any haircuts. I wish I could show a picture but it’s giving me the option.

The hours may need to be updated. I have been here several times in the afternoon (around four pm) on weekdays only to find the doors locked with no one seeming to be present. Definitely a bummer, it's a good place when you can get in and it would be nice to be able to support small local businesses, but if petco is the only consistent option that's where I have to go.

This was a great experience! Even though she has a packed schedule, she was able to squeeze us in for a quick butt shave on our cat. She was quick and had a great price for the service. We will definitely be coming back!

FYI Does not offer nail grinding. Would not recommended this place to someone with a large and sensitive dog. Don’t have review for other services. Nicked my dogs quick and just didn’t seem all that confident with large dog with black nails. Not for us. Thanks
