This review is on our Internist, Dr. Sindumani Manoharan. She is thorough and pleasant to interact with. Her team is all so kind and sweet and I can tell that they handle things with care. I felt like she was very knowledgeable and understanding as to each aspect of our cat. The prices at VRA are pricier than other vets closer to me (one is 4 mins away and another is 6 mins away and VRA is 22 mins away). However, I feel like I would definitely trust the health care of our precious cat to her and her team. Loved the nice touch on the board when I was waiting for the doctor.
I have been meaning to post this for months. Drs. Fritz, Conway, and Ganjei along with all the staff at VRA are absolutely amazing! (I am horrible with names but legit, to everyone who has called me or the hubs during/after surgery or treatment, thank you! ❤️❤️❤️ I have known Dr. Fritz the longest because one of the cat crew has feline dendritic histiocytosis, and she is quite familiar with the treatment. This kitty received chemo with Dr. Fritz and is now in maintenance. She regularly monitors his x-rays for recurrence and explains everything amazingly! Dr. Conway has seen at least 3 of the cat crew. And let me tell you, she is absolutely dedicated. Two of the cat crew needed radioactive iodine for hyperthyroidism, and another saw her due to suspected hyperthyroidism but ended up be
I have brought my 2 cats to VRA on numerous occasions - multiple times over the past 9 years for ER services, and now also for specialized treatment. My cats have never received anything but wonderful care at VRA. They have been treated by many of the doctors and technicians (I feel like I have met so many of them now), and I am so thankful to all of them, and in particular, to Drs Lechner, Manoharan, Glover, and Fritz. Some of the more recent visits stand out in my mind, as they have also been the most serious. At the end of November, one of my cats vomited an enormous amount of blood - she ended up being hospitalized at VRA for nearly 2 weeks. She developed pancreatitis, needed a blood transfusion, didn’t eat for a week and had a temporary feeding tube put in, had an endoscopy and bi
If I could give them less I would. They are absolute scammers, just want your money. Cannot do anything either. The care they gave my dog for an open head wound was ridiculous compared to the care we got at grove veterinary just 10 minutes away. We paid 800 dollars JUST to even give her pain killers or sedatives. Then tried to tell us we needed at 5000 dolkar surgery with anesthesia. The vet office the next day did the suturing that this place said she needed for 900 dollars. While I understand it was Christmas and there were 3 dogs behind her, the fact that the price went to 5000 dollars is ridiculous when the different vdt office was able to do it with just sedatives. They should’ve been transparent and said doing it with us will be super expensive, we will give her sedatives pain killer
The entire experience with VRA was top notch. The numerous scheduling phone calls were all pleasant and helpful. Upon arrival the facility was well organized and professional. The wait time was fast and we were taken into the exam room by the fantastic vet tech for Dr. Chen who was calm and patient and truly listened to the saga with my dog. Dr. Chen was honestly such a breath of fresh air and really was fantastic to work with. She was down to earth, straightforward and very clear on the multiple options there was for my dogs care. She balanced medicine, emotion and cost perfectly. I walked out of my VRA appointment a million times lighter than I walked in. If I ever have any other emergency room specialty needs for my dog I will for sure bring her to VRA. It’s a catch 22 because I hope to
