I cannot express how much I love this clinic. The staff are always so kind and attentive, really making me feel like a priority regardless of how many patients are there. Dr. Carrier is by far the best vet I’ve seen and really does love my girls, Fury and Gemma. I often hear them talking in the back about how cute and wonderful my dogs are. Dr. C also always does a very thorough exam regardless of the reason we are coming in and spends the time really listening to my concerns. My dog, Fury, had an emergency just this morning and they got her in immediately to check her out. Within 10 minutes, I was already with the doctor to address the issue. Fantastic people. I’ve been coming here for almost a year now for my baby cat pickles I got last year, and you can just tell right away these people truly love pets and will care for your animals with the utmost level of compassion and respect. I’ve got a new vet for life!

This review is WAYYY overdue!! 2024 was a rough year, but I am so beyond thankful for Dr. Carrier and the rest of the staff for saving not just one of my dogs, but two!!! January 2024 - my German Shepherd ate a big chunk of his ball and had an emergency intestinal blockage surgery. September 2024 - my Goldendoodle had a tumor rupture on her spleen and also had an emergency surgery to remove her spleen. Dr. Carrier performed both surgeries successfully and our dogs healed 100%!!🥹💜 Dr. Carrier is amazing, personable, empathetic, and truly cares about the dogs she treats!! Beyond the surgeries, our German Shepherd is very reactive to dogs and wary of people and Dr. Carrier knows how to work around “difficult dogs” and is very efficient at what she does. For several years we looked and looked for an alternative to have our paws’ family members be seen by another professional who would fit our needs and our demanding criteria since our two remaining four legged girls were getting old and health issues were becoming a serious concern. We finally found Dr. Amie Carrier @ Goshen Animal Clinic in Gaithersburg. With the previous diagnosis for our pets, we were holding on hope but wanted to get that professional second opinion. Since day one, once we met Dr Carrier things started to turn on a very positive way. She took care of Dulce and Emerald (Emmy), she made all the necessary exams and adjusted the medicine doses, made all the due recommendations and a 180 degree turn reflecting the betterment & huge improvement of our little girls’ health

Dr. Carrier is kind, empathetic and genuinely cares for our family dogs as if they were her own. She has been our vet for going on 10 years and even though we've moved, we continue to drive the extra distance just so our dogs can be in her care. I wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else.
