Feel Gouged. I was astonished by the $4,000 estimate/bill, but we were traveling and our pet setter took our pup to the vet for a wound in his side. Nothing crazy deep, but it wouldn’t have closed on its own due to the location near his groin. I do not feel that he needed to stay overnight for observation and in fact was likely more frightened at being at a place outside of his home. To top it off, blood work was taken and was extremely wrong, prompting another regular vet visit and some extra worry on our part. We took this bill to our normal vet and she also found this alarmingly high.

24 hrs 7 days a week- thank goodness for you guys! You were so good to my beagle boy and helped me out with logistics you didn’t have to. Arranged for care at the nuero vet early the next day. You are amazing. Thank you!!

My Penelope started getting very, very sick just as my vet's office was about to close. They were not able to help her as they do not have 24 hour emergency services. My vet called Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center of NAZ to let them know we were coming. As soon as we got there, they made sure Penelope was stable while we came up with a game plan. I will warn you, they do want payment for their services, and they do want it up front. I highly recommend having a plan for emergencies. Penelope has pet insurance, so I'll be reimbursed a good portion of it, but you still have to come up with the lump some. They do offer at least 3 credit options. Her case was more serious so it was expensive for her. She had vomiting, diarrhea (with some blood), tremors, temperature of 104.7, heavy panti

On Sunday my cat had an emergency, he had fallen and I thought he had either broken his leg or dislocated. I live about two hours away and no where near me was open so I called and explained the situation and the person over the phone told me it would be $219 which no problem I just wanted my cat to be okay. We got there and they took my cat away into the back away from me, they asked me what happened and if he had medication that’s all that was asked. They examined my cat without me in the room. To go with that since they didn’t do the examination in the room with me they didn’t get accurate answers to general questions they are supposed to ask and just assumed on his medical records. They came back saying my cat was severely dehydrated which did not make sense since the entire ride there

Christmas night my dog became ill with GI track issues. I thought I could control it. I was wrong. On the drive home we stopped in Flagstaff for the night before continuing on to Kansas and our home. I called for an appointment was asked to come in the next day in the morning as they were backed up and I'd be more comfortable at the motel, we were. Once we got to the clinic we were greeted warmly and my dog was seen. After a through check up they took him back, suggested a breakfast place for us to eat while they worked on him. We returned to a still sick but getting better dog and made it home to see his own vet the following week. The staff was caring and explained everything to me clearly. My dog is now back to full dog status, thanks to this clinic.
