Wags and Whiskers Pet Resort

I've taken my poodle here a few times for grooming because it was supposed to be better than Petsmart, and maybe that is true if you have an anxious dog. The plus here is that there is only one groomer so there aren't other dogs getting groomed at the same time. The down sides are that there is only one groomer, so you have to schedule 3+months in advance. It is also probably fine if you want a basic cut, meaning one length over the whole dog, but for poodle cuts the experience has not been great. I don't even want anything crazy like a show cut, but my poodle does have a top knot, tail fluff, and occasionally paw bracelets. Every time, something has been wrong. We needed to find a place for our dog while we are gone for an extended trip. We opted to have him spend time playing with other dogs while he is boarded there. He needed to be evaluated and as we waited in the entry area we saw all these dogs come in all excited about coming for their doggie play time. I was immediately put at ease about having to leave him. He did well during his evaluation and we now believe he will enjoy his “vacation” while we enjoy ours.

My little girl Aspen and I got a great first impression from the Wags & Whiskers team + all of the wonderful dogs she met today during day camp. :=) We have moved around a few times so Aspen has had lots of experience playing at different doggy daycares. This one is so spectacular from the way it is organized in there: - Clean facilities - Friendly + knowledgeable handlers - Behaved dogs (requires evaluation) - 3 different fenced play areas - Not to mention, reasonable prices. I can feel like I trust this boarding/daycare facility which is one of the most important aspects of deciding on one. I highly recommend!

Can't say enough good things about this place. I was very hesitant to board my dog for the first time, but he absolutely adores the staff here and all his dog friends. Whenever I pick him up from camp, he really tries not to leave. While that is deeply insulting on my end, It really shows how great the staff here care for the animals. We love it here!
