Customer Reviews
I had an appointment for my dogs vaccination. Yet it took almost 1 1/2 hours longer to get my dog her shot. There was a lack of consideration on the amount personal chatting going on instead of being more efficient with processing us through. Also Petco doesn't provide any seating and I was yelled at by the vetinarian to move back when all I was doing was leaning on something due to my bad back, just 2 steps closer from the waiting line, not obstructing anyone. Very rude. I will never make a Saturday vet appointment again. They are too slow and too chatty with customers taking pics of someone's cat because it was cute and just randomly chatting rather than processing the check in right away. Especially when they ask you to complete info online beforehand. I believe there were walking too,
I want to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at Vetco Clinic, a practice I've trusted for eight years. While I've always been satisfied with the care provided, my last visit, involving Dr. Graff, fell significantly short of my expectations and the consistently high standards I've come to associate with Vetco. My primary concern revolves around Dr. Graff refusal to provide a six-month prescription for flea and tick medication for my dog. Her justification—that a concurrent heartworm test might necessitate a different approach—was both perplexing and communicated poorly. This explanation, delivered curtly from behind the counter without adequate explanation, contradicted my previous experiences where such prescriptions were routinely provided following a heart
Both techs were amazing as always. I am just upset due to the lack of communication and unnecessary rudeness that was given to me. I have a puppy and am a new dog owner, trying to find the most affordable care I chose Vetco. Very busy schedule and have a toddler as well, upon buying the package for the first time in May, I was not told that I had to get everything done within a 3 month span. I wish I would’ve known that before purchasing and committing so quickly. Started a new job in June and went from part time to full time in less than a month so my schedule is very sporadic. I’m aware that unless my dog is fully vaccinated it’s not safe to bring him to parks or around any other dogs who aren’t vaccinated. Well at today’s visit they told me everything would have to be out of pocket agai
The vet-techs themselves were awesome. Everyone was super kind and treated my dog well. I'm giving a 3 stars because the vaccination clinic itself was absolute chaos. The staff asked I wait within the Petco store aisles to be triaged, then loop around more store aisles to wait in line to checkin, and then wait again to be seen. There was no signage except for a traffic cone plopped in the middle of the store where we were directed to wait. While this wait/triage/wait/checkin/wait situation was happening, regular customers with their own dogs (and other Petco employees trying to do their jobs) were weaving in and out of me and others waiting for the vaccine clinic. It was really chaotic and there didn't seem to be place to stand where I wasn't in the way of someone at all times. When it w
Don’t try to bring a puppy here. They will force you to try to put a muzzle on your 6 pound dog and then refuse service to you because their staff is unvaccinated.
