Vermont English Bulldog Rescue

We had a fantastic experience with the Vermont English Bulldog Rescue! Nicole was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process. It is really clear that she ( and the organization as a whole) deeply cares about finding the right match for each person/dog. We adopted Whinny—now Olive—and she’s been the perfect addition to our family. The adoption process was smooth and thoughtful, and we could tell Olive had been well cared for before coming home. We’re so grateful to Nicole and the whole team for sending us home with Olive. I highly recommend this rescue to anyone looking to adopt!

We adopted a little guy this weekend, and everyone at this rescue is such a rockstar. Our friend was shy and nervous because of the previous family, and the rescue was very clear in communicating his needs and letting us know so we were aware of what we were signing up for. They were prompt going through our application and made sure that we would be a good fit. The people here care and love dogs, a lot of them from all walks of life. They do a great job at trying to find good homes for these dogs and treated us with such patience and respect as we figured out if Ollie was a good match with our current dog. Thank you for your work VEBR!

Excellent experience with VEBR. They coordinated to bring my girl home to me. They were compassionate and efficient, and you can tell there is love behind every rescue. Pam was amazing and even arranged for me to talk with the foster before we committed . If you are looking for a new family member, this is the place to go. Our girl Ziva, aka Athena, came fully vetted. With all vaccinations, and microchipped. Highly recommend!

This summer we adopted a puppy through VT English Bulldog Rescue. It was a wonderful experience, start to finish. Communication was great. Our screening was prompt and thorough, and we felt that the staff cared very much about all the dogs and their new families. Our puppy is a little mutt who rode a “dog bus” from Texas, along with a dozen or so others. Their trip was facilitated by this rescue. We drove a couple of hours to meet him. He is an absolute gem, thanks to the care he received in Texas and in VT. We love him so much! Thank you to everyone at VT English Bulldog Rescue! We are so grateful.

We had such a positive experience adopting our 5 month old standard poodle pup with VEBR! Communication was great with Nichole! The team there are doing a great, hard working deed supporting these animals to a better life.
