If I could give 100 stars I would. The staff at VCA are literal angels. They were the light on our darkness day. My baby Cloud (a beautiful silky soft white cat, with one hellava personality) had a life threatening complication. He was very weak and lethargic when we decided to take him in. I had called around for more than a day and it was let down after let down. Everyone wanted an absurd amount of money for the procedure that would ultimately save Clouds life. We were absolutely heartbroken and it was utterly gut wrenching to see Cloud in so much pain. My husband and I thought we were bringing him in to possibly put him down, we knew we couldn't afford his procedure. We recently moved here from WV with our 6 cats. We truly loved our previous vet and were very nervous about finding vet care here. We randomly stopped into VCA one afternoon to check them out and the front desk staff was very friendly and more than helpful. Our first visit with one of our fur babies was not what we expected, as we had to help our 19 yr. old cat cross the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Wok was very comforting and reassuring in our decision. Dr. Smith is also amazing. He makes over our cats like they are his own. I highly recommend VCA Lecanto. I can't praise them enough!

I was extremely pleased with my experience. I was having an emergency with my dog and they were able to squeeze me in same day even though I not been a client before hand. The receptionist was to calm me down on the phone and immediately started asking questions as to my pups issues. She with the vet and they deemed it important enough to get her in there. I called 5 places them and nobody else gave me a second thought. The vet was very gracious and just really on top of his game. Got blood work done, put on antibiotics and she is on her way to recovery. I'm incredibly grateful to them and will continue to bring my pup and any other future animals to them. That dog means the world to me, this was huge for me. Thank you VCA Lecanto!

Like anything else, Vet care is expensive. Yearly check up and 2- 3 year vaccines and 1 -1 year vaccine, heartworm and fecal test, a nail trim cost over $300. Staff is kind and caring to my little dog.

It was our first visit to VCA Lecanto Animal Hospital. We moved to Crystal River from Tampa and we needed a new vet for our cat's annual check up and shots. I like that VCA offers boarding as well. The building is nice inside and out. The staff and Dr. Woch were great. Friendly, caring and very attentive, they did the exam of my cat then provided information and recommendations. Overall, very happy with the service provided. I'm glad we selected VCA as our new vet for our old girl. Thank you!
