I must say I am impressed with this facility! Today was my first time taking my precious Venom in and not only was the facility big, but very nice and very clean. The two receptionist up front were so sweet, kind and respectful during the check in process, while waiting for Venom to be seen one of them even came out and mopped the floors, I was just so impressed. Dr. Flores, Neftali was so warm, welcoming and kind and I forgot his Nurses name but she listened and took so much care with my baby! I must say I would 1000000% recommend this Clinic/ Hospital, their prices were great let’s bot forget the complimentary first time exam, it’s true there’s no hassle or games around it, the exam is FREE! This was the worst experience I've ever had as an animal owner my entire life. We brought our English Mastiff here to be laid to rest and it was torture. He clearly was not dosed right as it took 45 mins of Bruno hallucinating, babbling his head, watching his tongue turn purple and they did NOTHING!!!! 45 MINS OF PURE HELL. I have stage 4 cancer and it exploded after this stressful experience. I didnt sleep for days because I kept having nightmares that they burned him alive. I tried calling and left multiple messages and NO RETURN CALL! Horrible! I have every intention of reporting them but I beg you not to bring your pet here to be put to sleep. You guys should be ashamed and disgusted at your behavior and how you handled my dog's final moments. It is still with me months later,

Dr. Dayton is truly the best veterinarian I’ve ever had. She has cared for all of my pets over the years with unmatched compassion and dedication. I completely trust her judgment, knowing she always goes above and beyond to give my pets the healthiest, happiest lives possible. Her caring heart shines through in everything she does. The staff is also wonderful—friendly, supportive, and always making visits smooth and stress-free. I couldn’t imagine taking my pets anywhere else!

We’ve been taking our fur babies to VCA Lake Wales for over 6 years, and we truly couldn’t ask for better care. From day one, we’ve felt like part of their family. Whether it’s veterinary visits, boarding, or grooming services, the entire team treats our pets — and us — like VIPs. Our babies always leave with a smile and a wagging tail, which says everything. Most recently, we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl Zoey. It was one of the hardest days of our lives, but the compassion and support we received from the staff made all the difference. They explained every step of the process with patience and kindness, and they comforted us through every moment. We chose to have Zoey cremated and picked a beautiful wooden urn to bring her home in. One of the half-feral neighborhood cats showed up yesterday unable to use her front left foot. The receptionists at VCA Lake Wales Animal Hospital have been GREAT about scheduling and rescheduling appointments for the poor kitty, who is inside but flipped out when a neighbor came to put her in her cat carry case, and hid for 12 hours. My landlord takes his animals there and recommended them to me, and they are great! If you're reading this at VCA Lake Wales Animal Hospital, thank you so much!
