Paws and Perches Animal Hospital

Took my baby boy to the this amazing vet today and they did absolutely splendid with him. The service was fast and efficient, there was no wait time. The staff were so understanding, gentle, and answered all my questions (and I had a lot ) as a pet parent should. They treated my sweet boy with the utmost care and concern. I got everything I needed for him. Everything was also very affordable. He had to wear his muzzle for everyone’s safety but he is still smiling. Thank-you so much paws and perches!! I will be seeing you again in a year for his annual.

I took my cat Willie to Paws and Perches on Tuesday November 25, 2025 because my regular veterinary clinic was temporarily closed. Dr Lab and her staff were absolutely incredible, and treated Willie and I like we were the most important clients in the world. Willie had a mild urinary infection and was given a seven day course of antibiotics. Dr Lab made sure I understood the dosing instructions and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. I was extremely pleased with the service, and the price was very reasonable. Your pets are definitely in good hands here!

Since, we relocated here in Polk County only a few places would offer nail cutting for my two fur Rabbit babies. Now a regular for about 4years, their nails get clipped twice a year. I only wish they can groom my lion head as well. Anywho, I would definitely recommend this place, very family oriented customer service is great, they’re always available when I call. 🐇🐰🐾🐾

I have bragged on Dr. Lab and her Vet Techs before ( yes they are still wonderful 😊). But April, your go to gal for everything, that greete up front is amazing. No matter when or why you call her, even if it is something silly, she gives you her respect and time. There could be total chaos happening over the top of her as you are talking to her but it does not phase her at all. I’m still unclear where my dog’s supposed “history” of aggression is documented, because it does not appear in this clinic’s own prior records. Previous visit notes specifically state: “At no point did the patient exhibit outwardly aggressive behavior.” At that time, the concern was anxiety and difficulty with restraint, with a plan for pre-medication — not muzzling. At our most recent visit, a muzzle was presented as “not negotiable” without prior discussion. The veterinarian had not personally seen my dog since 2024, despite significant time having passed during which my dog completed extensive training and was heavily medicated for this visit.
