Urgent VET Care

Urgent Vet Care has been wonderful for our dog, Anya. Both times we visited, she has been given prompt and effective care and completely recuperated without a hitch. All the employees are really nice, too—last time we were there they even took these cute Christmas pics of her while waiting for her meds to kick in, which made me feel like she was getting kind, attentive treatment (which is what you want in these kinds of situations!) I recommend them to anyone experiencing an after-hours or very urgent issue.

The nurses and vet at urgent vet care took care of my sweet girl and kept me updated frequently. They provided her with the best love & care! They also made sure to explain everything they were doing before they did it, and made time for our questions. Thank you for loving and taking care of my girl! Included are some pictures they took with my Nelly! You will not be disappointed, they treat your animals like their own! Thank you again!!

We had a great experience at Urgent VET Care in Hunt Valley. Our dog, Lulu, was in so much pain and distress earlier this week for reasons unbeknownst to us, and our regular vet was not in the office that day. We went to Urgent VET Care and received great care. The staff were caring and compassionate, and Dr. Kretchner identified the problem right away. She treated the issue right away, and Lulu is making great progress. Lulu is feeling so much better already. Thank you to Urgent VET Care and Dr. Kretchner!!

We brought my cat in when he wouldn’t stop vomiting and seemed to be very lethargic. The staff was LOVELY and took such good care of care of him! They also called me the next day to check on how he was doing and let me know to call if I needed anything. It’s always stressful when your pet isn’t feeling well but the staff here made us feel so comfortable!

I am writing this review to share my experience and to encourage greater diligence in urgent care situations. My cat, Grayson, was taken to Urgent Vet Care on Saturday, November 8, 2025 when he first became ill with urinary symptoms. At that visit, no urine sample or diagnostic testing was performed. He was treated with medications and sent home. Shortly afterward, Grayson’s condition rapidly worsened. He later passed away on today Thursday, December 18, 2025, and we were informed that his bladder had ruptured a condition commonly associated with untreated urinary blockage in male cats. I understand that veterinary medicine can be complex, but given the symptoms presented, I believe additional diagnostic testing, including a urinalysis, should have been performed during that initial vis
