Sit Means Sit Dog Training - Towson

Amanda and the sit mean sit team did such a great job with out 6 month old puppy. They taught him sit and place with duration. As well as enforced his door manners. And most appreciated of all the things they taught him is heel. He has now learned to listen in distracting environments and we can actually take him on a hike or walk and enjoy our experience with him. We are forever grateful to the Towson Sit Means Sit team.

The training at Sit Means Sit was excellent! They showed such great time and attention with our dog Charley. The whole staff was so welcoming and professional and our trainer Amanda was just amazing, patient, knowledgeable and our dog loved learning with her. Sit Means Sit is the absolute best thing that has happened to my family. As someone who is a first time Shepard owner it look me a while to learn about the reactivity level and them needing a “job.” Duke has created an amazing bond with both Amanda and Carmen. Amanda helped us get our smart Shepard back while Carmen continued to be a familiar face and always extremely welcoming. From getting handouts about things they worked on during the day to activities we can do at home to continue his progression SMS has change out fur family forever. Now onto our second dog entering training and can’t wait to see her progress!

Sit means Sit Towson has truly been life-changing for us. Before starting classes, I felt overwhelmed and unsure how to help my dog with certain behaviors. We had completed training courses elsewhere and saw no improvements. We were concerned our pup would get hurt as she ran away almost daily. Tamar not only taught our dog, but they also taught me how to communicate better. I'm happy to report that Sylvie has learned door boundaries and hasn't run away in over a month. Tamar celebrated every small win with us, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. I’m so grateful for the care, patience, and encouragement we received. I would absolutely recommend this center to anyone who wants a stronger bond with their dog.

We had a wonderful experience with Sit Means Sit, especially working with our trainer, Stephanie. She was patient, knowledgeable, and truly great with our puppy, Annabelle. Annabelle responded incredibly well to her training, and we’ve seen so much progress. Her recall has improved significantly, and our walks are now much more enjoyable with far less pulling. We’re so grateful for Stephanie’s guidance and highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone looking for effective, positive dog training.
