From the moment we started coming here, the level of care and professionalism has been unmatched. ​One of the things that stood out most was the thoroughness of the veterinary staff. My pet was originally my foster before I officially adopted her, and the vet went above and beyond by personally making calls to gather all her previous medical history and info. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they had the full picture of her health. ​A huge shoutout to Alora, one of the techs! She is incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and shows such genuine care. My dog Lissy passed away yesterday, but I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone at Uptown Veterinarian. I brought her here during the last few months of her life, and the care she received meant so much to me. Everyone was always supportive and honest. The doctors were great, they took the time to explain things and always gave me different options for how to treat her, which helped me feel confident in the choices I made. A special thank you to Adiv for always being so kind and gentle with Lissy at our appointments. It was clear how much you cared, and that made a big difference. Thank you all for helping us through such a difficult time with compassion and care.

“Compassionate, Sensitive, and Truly Above and Beyond” We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved Sundae, our Chihuahua, and the staff at Uptown Veterinarian were extraordinary in their care and kindness during such a heartbreaking time. They were wonderfully sensitive, gently helping us recognize that this was the best decision for her. They gave us as much time as we needed and never rushed us, showing deep compassion at every step. I expected the standard clay paw prints most clinics provide, but Uptown Vet went far beyond. I brought my dog in for a dental cleaning and they pulled their teeth out without my permission or a phone call. I’ve been going to uptown vet for over 30 years ( granted under multiple ownerships ) I’ve had 4 different dogs there and dozens of cleanings and have always gotten a phone call to discuss with me the plan. I brought it up with the Dr who did the cleaning and she dismissed my concern. I asked for the owner to call me. When he finally did, he acted clueless to the situation and just said that’s the way it is now. Quickly told me to go somewhere else and sent all my dog’s records over to me within 5 minutes of hanging up. Dr Antonia Lombeida was very rude and defensive. All of the staff at uptown have been so amazing and patient. I have recommended them to anyone looking for a new vet. They were so understanding and patient with my hundreds of questions and fears while trying to figure out my cats mystery illness. Vet care is always going to be expensive but they really worked with me and discussed options realistically through the process.
