We introduced our Oliver to Hank for a 3 week board and train to help Oliver with unwanted reactivity to humans and lack of confidence. We are amazed at the change and improvement we are experiencing with Oliver since bringing him home. He is no longer the uncontrollable wild child in the house. Can’t wait to see how much more he progresses with the help and guidance from Hank and his structured home plan. Thanks Hank for coming to the rescue!

We brought our 3 year old catahoula leopard mix to Hank for a 3 week board/train session. Luther was reactive to people, other dogs, and lacked confidence. Because of this - we didn't feel comfortable taking him for walks and were not able to board him. This made life very small for both us and Luther. During the board and train - Hank was providing consistent updates on progress. Early on we even got a video of Luther trotting along side Hank in a major home improvement store with carts/people all around. He did great - and I was impressed! The other aspect of this training was training "us" to properly handle Luther to give him the best chance for success. Giving us the tools to keep Luther moving in the right direction. We now take Luther out for walks in the neighborhood daily

If you are on the fence about training with Hank let this be your sign to.. DO. IT.!!! About a year ago I had taken on a dog who struggled with reactivity, impulse control, leash skills you name it.. then Hank stepped into the picture and WOAH!!! He helped give Nashville a job as well as learn boundaries, recall and leash skills. What Hank does that sets him apart is that he also works with us humans to better understand our dog and how their minds work. Within those first couple sessions mine and Nashvilles relationship improved SO much and walks are now a calm and enjoyable part of my day and I no longer have to worry about him running off. Nashville can also be people selective and he LOVES Hank so take my dog’s word for it if nothing else!

Phenomenal experience and highly recommend North Star Family K-9. We used Hank for a 3-week boot camp as our rescue puppy had bitten numerous people. We had previously used two other professional trainers but she continued to be very aggressive towards people at our house and thought we might have to do the unthinkable, as she bit a stranger and the police got involved.
