Upland Animal Hospital

We have been utilizing this vet since I was a child. We’ve had multiple dogs and we’ve always received the best care. We love the vets, techs, and support staff. They always make us feel welcomed. The vets also take their time in explaining the situation. Everyone has a very positive attitude and the vets remind you not to think of the worst. I had a dog who was hit by a car a few years ago & the ER vet told me it would be better to euthanize him. I then asked to see a different ER vet and then when the weekday came we followed up with Dr. Austin (our normal vet). Dr. Austin shared that as long as my dog had the support of a caregiver he would make a full recovery. 🥹within 3 weeks to a month my dog did thanks to the vet and the care of my mom who is retired and was able to help him recover

The staff was so kind and took us right away. They listened to our concerns and explained everything to us thoroughly. Everything we needed for our pup ended up costing less than I thought it would so I was definitely grateful for that. They were so kind to our puppy and I'm very thankful we chose upland animal hospital. Helping ease our concerns about our puppy

When my cat Jinx started limping on Sunday, I knew her primary vet was closed and wanted to avoid ER costs. Upland Animal Hospital was the only clinic open, so I called and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. I paid a $59 deposit, which was later applied to the final bill. When we arrived the following morning, the receptionist greeted us warmly and got us into a room quickly. The doctor came in soon after, was gentle with Jinx, and listened carefully to my concerns. He explained his thoughts clearly and walked me through the recommended next steps. After a short wait, a tech came in with a treatment plan and estimate. Once approved, they asked to keep Jinx for testing, which I was initially nervous about. Though I was told it would take about an hour, it ended up being closer

Dr. Helsted is wonderful! He always greets my cat Pippa so happily and talks with her during the exam. He asks questions and listens carefully. I appreciate Dr. Helsted's warmth and love for animals! The staff are very caring and helpful as well. I am glad Pippa does not have issues that require many visits, but we always leave happy when we do visit. I have never had a dog but all of the dog parents there seemed happy too! Also - in the past Pippa needed a medicine but they were out of stock and recommended Costco. Costco was also out of stock but the price quoted was 3X more than Upland Animal Hospital! Excellent prices for everything, if that is a concern for pet parents.

The Staff at Upland Animal Hospital and are incredibly kind to their patients. We have been taking our dog to them for an issue, and have provided excellent services and compassion in regards to his issues and the best plan of action. We are extremely grateful for the care and service the staff have provided for our dog's needs.
