Pet Joy RC

Came in here to purchase some stuff for our new kitten. The staff were very helpful and kind. They had sample packages you could purchase, this was so helpful in helping decide what food our kitten would like. They have great options and great prices.

I have a pet store that sells specialty food right by my house, but I make the drive to Pet Joy because they are so nice and helpful. Kim is awesome, honest, and knowledgeable. If you’re running late they will stay open for you as long as you call.

Edit 2: After sleeping on this, I realized I wouldn't expect Walmart or Target to care about Pet food safety, so I shouldn't expect a small business to either. So I'm raising the score to an average score. I was just really disappointed because I really liked Pet Joy. They used to have an employee named Kim who was so sweet and helpful. So I expected the same level of friendliness from current staff... maybe that's unreasonable. Edit: Got a voice mail message from the owner stating staff have to follow protocols (in other words, it's not Oxy's fault - she was trained to act that way) and wanting to discuss some kind of resolution. As I said to Oxy and I said in my review - I'm not trying to get a refund. I just wanted someone to make a note of the concern in case other people started call

Unfortunately my pup has received a cancer diagnosis and the first round of chemotherapy wasn't successful. His lymph nodes got considerably smaller, but he never really went into remission. Before going to a new chemo protocol, I wanted to give his body a break and also started him on a new diet. Pet Joy was recommended for the specific food I was looking for. I did an online order, when we went in to pick up the food, the staff was super nice and helpful. Very welcoming to my pup, even though he was a little skittish.

The employee, I believe her name is Audacy had excellent customer service. She recommended some sample kibble for my dog to try since he’s not fond of his current kibble. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. Will be back again thank you! 💗
