Tri-City Animal Shelter

Adopted our Pepito a few days ago and couldn’t be more happy. As busy and full as most shelters are-they were attentive and checked in. Allow you to schedule 3 pet meets. Thank you all again, with little information available he is surprisingly amazing with other pets, children and leases. Taking him for walks and he’s soo attentive.

Almost 2 years ago we adopted this guy right here Dexter and he has been the highlight to our family ever since , one of the best dogs we have ever had so far he is a wonderful companion and the most handsomest boy around. I just want to say after almost two years with Dexter as a part of our family we could tell he was loved and cared for by tri city. Thank yall so much Ps. Today, we found 3 sibling pups that apparently were dumped in a parking lot. They were overly hot and hungry. We called Tri-City and told them our plight. They told us to bring them in. Hopefully, they will get a nice home together. Thanx Tri-City Animal Shelter!!!❤️💛💚

Adopted my handsome boy Milo from this shelter yesterday and I had to leave a review! The staff here is beyond great and slightly overworked in my opinion lol. Andrea was a sweetie! Even though she was super busy working the front she still gave my partner and I attention and helped us through the adoption process. I usually do not write reviews about my experiences, but I feel the need to share what happened during my visit. I went to the animal shelter to try to surrender my dog, and the entire experience made me feel judged and uncomfortable. From the beginning, the employee made comments about my personal situation, specifically about my busy schedule and my dog not being fully trained even though he is only a year old. She said things like, “You had a year to train him,” which felt unnecessary and dismissive during an already difficult situation. I also apologized for my dog’s smell since he was dirty, and the employee responded with jokes such as “Who didn’t bathe him?” and comments about whether I should have bathed him. Making jokes during such an emotional and sensitive moment was unprofes
