I’ve been taking my dogs here since July after moving across the state and have had a great experience every time! From the techs to the doctors, I know my dogs are taken care of when they need vet care and when I need to board them. The manager, Elyssa, is extremely accommodating, patient, and cares for your animals as her own. Amazing job from this clinic. Thank you for ALL that you do here!!!

It was a great experience going there. I was so hesitant because this was the first place that I had used prior to my old one and I was very pleased with the experience with them. Everyone was so very nice from the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor. I will continue to utilize them moving forward.

We are new to Texas and come from the desert. Our black lab has horrible skin allergies. She bites all day and all night. It was a thing before the move, but constant since our move. She was starting to lose hair and had developed red irritation bumps. We have previously been to our vet in NM for this and she has tried so many treatment modalities, including Apoquel, steroids, over the counter immune/allergy meds, and food restrictions for a periods of time. The meds helped, but never enough to call it controlled. A coworker mentioned that City Vet helps her dog with her dog’s allergies, which were pretty much the same symptoms. We took her this week to City Vet - Cedar Hill and it’s over. NO MORE ITCHING AND BITING! She got an injection and it was immediate relief. I’m amazed.

I love City vet! I’ve been going there for probably 20 years. I have taken all of my dogs there throughout the years. My baby is 15 and they are always extra gentle with her. The care that we have gotten is amazing.

This vet has always been so good to me, but they knew my corgi was on keppra and had epilepsy and they still prescribed nexguard! I didn't know nexguard increased chances of seizures. This morning at 5am the day after I gave her her nexguard she had a seizure. Thankfully my sister has had many senior dogs and brought the nexguard issue to my attention. It infuriates me to know the vet tech knew she was on seizure meds and still prescribed that without warning us of the increased seizure chances! I will only take my dogs here for shots and blood work from now on... but warning for future patients, if you get prescriptions, make sure to do extensive research on your own. More people on reddit and TikTok will tell you the truth about how these drugs work.
