The Vital Spark: Veterinary Rehab and Acupuncture

I can’t recommend The Vital Spark enough! My 15 year old Yorkie had a decline in his arthritis after the ice storm due to slipping & medicine wasn’t helping. It got to the point where we couldn’t even pet him. I started looking into acupuncture & laser therapy as a last resort. He didn’t cooperate well for the first treatment, but he already had SO much improvement with the little we could do. He now enjoys it & will sit still for our sessions! His condition is even better than it was before we even knew he had arthritis. I hope this helps convince someone to take their pup to Dr. Amanda Picking sooner than later. It is well worth the time and effort. I wish I had brought my dog in sooner. The treatments have directly greatly improve my dog’s functionality and enjoyment of life. We also get guidance on home PT, which we can see works. And if you have a senior or otherwise sensitive situation you have a regular touch base with not just a vet but a vet who specializes in these cases. Besides the impact of her services Dr. Picking is one of the most kindest, knowledgeable, and supportive vets I’ve encountered.

Dr Picking is amazing! She is very calm and patient with my cat. I have seen very positive results on my cat - she has hair loss through excessive licking, which is really hard to diagnose. I initially went to my regular vet for options, but due to the strange nature of the hair loss, my options were limited, or very expensive ( allergy testing, etc). Dr Picking has been an affordable solution that is showing progress. In the beginning, we went every other week, and now visit about every six weeks to manage her issues. I am very pleased with our progress, and glad that my cat is better.

I was very skeptical and hesitant to spend money on acupuncture and laser therapy. After my Frenchie spent 2 months on strict crate rest with a tough medication regime with small progress, I thought "why not"? After the 1st treatment I was still on the fence because he was just tired afterwards. We have just finished our third session and I've seen a huge improvement!
