I came in sobbing late on Christmas Eve with my kitty who had a nasty abscess. He is not great with strangers, but they were very compassionate, friendly, and made me feel much more at ease. Within two and a half hours, Charlie was treated, medicated, and I was on the way home with him. He’s healing well and I am very grateful for the care I received and the late night staff. Thank you again from Charlie and I!
Almost felt chastised for bringing my cat for his acute constipation (over four days of constipation!). He ended up needing over night care and intravenous fluids. I wouldn’t have come to an ER if it wasn’t an emergency. When discharging, they said I can’t just keep coming to an ER and that I need primary care. My cat does have primary care. How is primary care helpful for an emergency occurring after the primary care clinic is closed? Who else is supposed to see my pet then? Never coming back here.
Terrible experience! We had an emergency with our dog and brought her to this place tonight… checked in- no one was in the waiting room. 20 minutes later, a woman walked in and her small dog seemed fine. She was taken in right away. When we asked about it, the woman at the front desk stated that pets are seen, based on the urgency and that we could go somewhere else if we wanted to. Clearly, our dog had a more urgent situation. She then went to the back and didn’t come back out. We ended up having to leave and go somewhere else. Never again will we go to this place. This place is not recommended at all.
i had recently gone to the emergency village vets with my sister because my dog had suddenly started bleeding from her butt. we had no clue why, but when we got to the vet, no one seemed in a rush to help our dog. she was still bleeding on the floor and one of the doctors came out to check our dog. she started to be impatient with us, asking how did this happen, when. we tried to give as much information as we could that we knew, but she looked at us like we were dumb, like we were supposed to know exactly what happened to her. she was barely looking at our dog not even looking at her butt, not even touching her to check for anything, which is what she should have been doing. we finally got a room for her to be checked. this other girl came in to ask us some more questions from other vet v
My experience at this veterinary office was extremely disappointing. I felt rushed, unheard, and completely unsupported during one of the hardest moments a pet owner can face. There was a serious lack of compassion and patience, especially from a staff member named Naomi. She is not a veterinarian, yet she was the primary person interacting with me, and her demeanor was cold, dismissive, and unempathetic. When you’re facing the possibility of putting your dog down, you expect care, kindness, and understanding—not to feel like an inconvenience. I left feeling confused, overwhelmed, and pressured, with very few answers, after spending a significant amount of money trying to understand what was wrong with my dog. I would not recommend this location to anyone whose pet is sick or struggling.
