The Village Veterinarian

My dog needed a teeth cleaning and has had some bumps pop up over the years that needed to be removed. The Village Vet and Dr Nesius brought him in and treated him like their own. They took great care of him and called multiple times during the day with updates to keep me informed. The staff was very welcoming and Dr. Nesius was great. If you want a vet who makes your animal feel like family, loved, and cared for, I definitely recommended the Village Vet, Dr. Nesius, and her staff.

WOW!! Our friends referred us to TVV and they did not disappoint! The staff and DR. were just awesome with our sweet Jackson Brown who is terrified of clinics and has a few special needs. Our last vet staff always took him to the back (without us) to trim nails treat etc... At The Village Vet they do it with you in the room, to help and I loved that! My husband and I were VERY IMPRESSED!! Thank you for taking such great care of our precious furry baby we certainly will be back and we will highly recommend!

We absolutely love Village Veterinarian! Shelby is always so kind and welcoming, and Dr. Nesius takes such great care of our dog, Diesel. They both go above and beyond to make sure he’s comfortable and that we feel confident in his care. It’s such a relief knowing Diesel is in such good hands every visit. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet who truly cares!

Bustin' heads. I thought I would support a local business by not going to Banfield. This place charged way too much for what they did. More than double what Banfield would have charged. Even Grok AI said, "Ouch!" when comparing local prices by ZIP Code for what was done. They charged about ~40% more than what Grok said was "high and pricing." I did not discuss pricing beforehand which was my mistake. To top it off, they told me it would be $800 minimum to clean my 10 pound dog's teeth, and that's if he needed no extractions. This is something Banfield charges $394.95, as is listed on their pricing page. BOTTOM LINE: I wanted to go out on a limb to support a local business, expecting to pay a little more, sure, but I was not expecting to be taken advantage of. Miles won't go there again.

Sara and Dr Nesius were both so kind and empathetic when we recently had to put down our 13.5 year old golden doodle. They were so sweet with our pup in his last moments. They gave us all the time we needed and put our mind at ease during such a difficult time.
